K9 Web Protection is a web filter. It helps keep internet access safe for children by blocking inappropriate websites – adult content, pornographical material, as well as other configurable categories.
K9 is the free version of the internet filtering and monitoring software that Blue Coat (now Symantec) sells to enterprise businesses.
Web filters do not substitute supervision and accountability.
